Royal Leamington Spa Archery Society

A Proud History of Archery Excellence in Warwickshire

Royal Leamington Spa Archery Society traces its roots back to 1833, officially re-constituted in 1949. As a Registered Charity our core mission is promoting and facilitating the sport of archery across all ages and abilities. Our team of AGB coachs ensure all members can develop to their ultimate potential.

Our outdoor range at Kenilworth RFC allows shooting up to 100yds 365 days a year, with indoor shooting throughout the winter at Trinity School in Leamington Spa.

Get Started in Archery with RLSAS

We offer tailored pathways depending on your current experience level. All equipment is provided for beginner courses.

Beginners

To join RLSAS you must complete a beginners course with us or another Archery GB afilliated club. Our beginners courses run every June and July and offer a comprehensive 6-hour structured program designed to teach you safe bow handling, technique, and range etiquette. If you are interested sign up to our mailing list by emailing beginners@rlsas.co.uk or clicking the button below and we'll let you know as soon as the courses are scheduled.

Experienced Archers and those having completed a Non-RLSAS Beginners Course

We are quite happy to accept new members who are currently or have previously been members of Archery GB, and also those that have recently completed an approved AGB beginners course at another archery club. It is important to note that it is a condition of the AGB insurance that all archers must have completed an approved beginners course. In all situations we need to check your safety and, if you have been away from the sport for a while, your ability. So please email the lead coach coach@rlsas.co.uk to book a time for an assessment. At the same time we can also tell you a little bit about our club and the local safety rules etc.
